Why We’re All Here

Together For Mental Health Mankato began as a vision from Taylor Wester of Mending Roots to create a space where the community could come together to learn about mental health and find support. Through the collaboration of Taryn Surdy of Surdy Family Services and Maria Walker of Gustavus Adolphus College, that vision grew into a meaningful community effort. United by compassion and a shared commitment to wellbeing, this initiative strives to break stigma and foster connection. This Mental Health Awareness Month event is a celebration of resilience, support, and the power of coming together as a community.
